PIKE AMBUSH BIG BAIT CASTING ROD

Length: 270 cm (9’)
Lure weight: 50–150 g
For use with baitcasting reels
40T carbon blank
A high-quality spinning rod built for handling big pike. Long, accurate casts, reliable with enough flex to control trophy fish, yet light and durable. Your shoulders and back won’t wear out even after several days on the water, because the rod’s action lets you launch big lures with minimal effort. It has a long handle for more comfortable casting, retrieving the lure, setting the hook, and fighting the fish.
The rod’s technical specs let you fish effectively with jerkbaits and swimbaits starting from 40 g, “mice,” as well as large soft plastics up to 180 g, since the rod is built with extra strength built into its performance limits. If you know there are big pike in your spot, tie on a big lure and go all in. If you’re exploring new water, scale down a bit to see whether pike are holding there and how active they are.
The idea behind this rod was shaped over years of chasing pike and adventure in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Scotland and Lavia. It was developed by four experienced trophy pike anglers: brothers Gints Klegers and Gunrs Klegers, Janis Bulavs (J Fishing), and Andris Vetra, who also designed the rod.
It combines everything you need for trophy pike fishing while still keeping it in a budget-friendly price range.

Technical data
These baitcasting rods are 270cm/9″ long and are rated for 50–150g lure (casting) weights.
Rod blanks feature a multi-layer carbon fiber construction with 40T high-modulus carbon layers, built using 4–6 layers of carbon cloth and cross-woven reinforcement to enhance strength and toughness and help reduce the risk of breakage.
Design
Adventure means fishing in wild places – bushes, small ponds, swamp lakes, huge lakes, seas, bright and shiny mornings, dusk, even nights. Both – in small and big boats, from the shore, in waders or bellyboat, you name it! That’s why the rod features a bold black-and-white contrast, so it’s easy to spot when left in the grass by your car or when you’re trying to recognize your fishing buddy in the distance.
There are few length markings on the blank in case you land a trophy and don’t have a measuring tape. The top mark at 125 cm represents the current PB pike length of the Klegers brothers. The 111 cm mark represents this rod designer’s PB.
All three fish were caught without using live sonar technology.
You’ll also find two alignment marks at the joint to make sure the sections are perfectly lined up and the guides stay in a perfectly straight line.
And yes, if you see someone holding this rod, you can safely assume two things. They’re serious about big pike, and they’re in it for the adventure. Go say hi. You’ll have plenty to talk about.
Handle and reel seat
The handle is made from black-and-white camouflage EVA, and the reinforced reel seat helps reduce overall rod weight.
